As this year wraps up, I want to share a few things I’m genuinely proud of. We did some really solid work at Vendi this year. When I step back and look at it, three things stand out. And it’s my hope all three continue to allow us to better serve the leaders and teams we get to work with.
First, we changed how we do the work.
One personal shift I made this year was bringing in trusted experts to support areas where they’re better and faster than I am: things like playbooks, SOPs, CRM builds, integrations, and training. That change allowed me to stay focused on high-impact, strategic conversations with leaders and teams while ensuring the right tools and systems were built to a high standard.
A good example is how we now approach CRM rebuilds. We strip systems down to the basics, focus heavily on weekly training and adoption, and only add complexity once usage is solid. Several teams increased CRM usage by over 200%, coming from well under 5%. Once visibility improves, accountability and coaching get much easier.
Second, we launched the Vendi Sales Podcast.
This has been a fun project. The podcast is available wherever you listen, and the goal is simple: to give you advice, tools, and insight on how to lead, build, and sell better. I’m sitting down with experienced sales leaders to talk candidly about leadership, coaching, and the systems they use. We’re also bringing in industry experts to share what they’re seeing in the market, along with product and tech experts covering CRMs, add-ons, and AI. We’re learning as we go, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed the conversations and feedback so far.
Third, we built our free Sales Resource Library.
We now have nine practical resources available on the Vendi website—core sales KPIs, pre-call planning guides, post-call debrief worksheets, sales playbook outlines, buyer personas, interview scorecards, and sales leader interview questions. These are simple, foundational tools teams can actually use.
In 2026, we’ll continue adding resources and overhaul the Sales Resource Hub to make it easier to access, navigate, and use. My hope is that you find real value in these and use them often. And if there’s a resource you’d like to see added, I’m always open to hearing what would help you and your team.
I’m genuinely thankful for the year we had. I’m grateful for the leaders who trusted us, the teams who did the work, and the lessons learned along the way. I’m also very excited about what’s ahead. What we built this year is going to help more teams win in 2026.
Happy New Year, God Bless!
Cheers,
Kyle Jager
